Touchscreen safety gloves allow workers to use compatible phones, tablets and workplace devices without repeatedly removing their hand protection. Which Touchscreen Glove Should You Choose?

Ansell HyFlex 11-571 gloves combine a lightweight nitrile coating with cut-resistant protection for handling tasks requiring dexterity. HyFlex 11-819 foam nitrile-coated gloves are listed for general-purpose work where electrostatic discharge protection is required.

Ringers R-065 gloves combine impact and cut protection, while the low-profile R-840 range provides impact protection with a nitrile-coated grip. Ringers R-161 gloves use a spandex liner and synthetic leather grip, and the Turbo R-138 range combines a high-visibility mesh with a synthetic leather palm.

Check Protection Ratings and Device Compatibility

Touchscreen capability does not determine the glove’s overall safety rating. Select gloves according to the workplace risk assessment, including required cut, impact, grip and ESD protection.

Confirm that the glove works with the exact touchscreen devices used at your workplace, as performance may vary between screens and applications. Dirt, moisture and heavy wear can also reduce touchscreen responsiveness.

Choose the correct size to maintain control and dexterity. Replace gloves when the coating, palm or touchscreen-sensitive area becomes torn, damaged or heavily worn.
